A spectacular aerial light show captivated Costa Rica on its 200th birthday.

Five-hundred drones depicted Costa Rica and its national symbols in the skies above San José:

The spectacle was the first of its kind in Costa Rica, according to Intel, which organized the show. The high-tech performance was the much-anticipated highlight of a two-hour independence celebration at the National Stadium in La Sabana.
